Our Vision: A strong America, safe communities, and unified people
Our Mission: Exchange ideas and inspire communities to become better places to live
Our Core Values: Family, Community & Country
The Americanism Program of Service promotes pride in our country, appreciation for the freedoms granted to American citizens, and gratitude to the men and women who serve or have served in the Armed Forces. Americanism celebrates the country’s rich, unique heritage and inspires unity from coast-to-coast.
The Community Service Program of Service is the lifeline of Exchange, with members devoting countless volunteer hours to serving their neighbors. We work together to develop and implement innovative ideas enabling our club to identify opportunities specific to our communities, offering THE standard for community service involvement regionally.
The Youth Program of Service is inspired by the belief that America’s young people are our most precious resource. We work with the regional Junior Excel Clubs and sponsor activities that benefit and encourage our nation’s youth. Through college scholarships, mentoring, and service recognition, we seek to make a difference for our upcoming generations.
The Prevention of Child Abuse became the National Exchange Club’s committed project in 1979. Exchange clubs across the country have made it a mission to not only increase child abuse awareness but do all that we can to prevent it. Taking this crucial mission to heart, the Mooresville/Lake Norman Exchange club partnered with Pharos Parenting of Iredell County, offering financial support, funding continuing education opportunities for the staff, and showing our appreciation for the staff's dedication. Pharos Parenting, an Exchange Club Center, provides in-home support for parents, parent supervision programs, general parenting skills, reunification programs, in-home therapeutic support, and parent discussion groups. We also volunteer at the Pharos Golf Tournament, Pharos Hope Luncheon, and the Pharos’ Rockin' For A Reason. Additionally, we are a charter member of The National Child Abuse Coalition and a Partner in Prevention with the Children’s Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
